The storage settings determine how long chats are kept in your Logicc organization. Chats older than the selected duration are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
The General Data Protection Regulation includes the principle of storage limitation. Under Article 5(1)(e) GDPR, personal data should generally be kept no longer than necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. The European Commission recommends that organizations establish time limits for erasing or reviewing stored data. Learn more about storage limitation.
This principle is one reason why we built flexible storage settings into Logicc. Organizations can control how long chats remain available and avoid storing them unnecessarily. Logicc distinguishes between:

The following options are available for both settings:
Unlimited means that Logicc does not automatically delete chats because of this setting.
You need the appropriate permission to manage the organization.
A shorter period can also affect existing chats that are already older than the new period. Because deletion cannot be reversed, before changing the setting you should:
No. Chats deleted because of the configured storage duration cannot be restored.
No. Each category has its own setting and can be configured differently.
With this selection, Logicc does not automatically delete chats because of a time-based retention period. You can change the setting later at any time.
