Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds another layer of protection to your Logicc account in addition to your password. When signing in, you confirm your identity with a second factor, such as a code from an authenticator app or via SMS.
Open security settings
Enable 2FA
- Open https://app.logicc.com/user-profile/security.
- Under Two-factor authentication, click Add two-factor authentication.
- Select SMS code or Authenticator application.
- If requested, confirm your identity first. Logicc sends a verification code to the email address of your account.
- Follow the on-screen steps for your selected method.
Use an authenticator app
You can use a common authenticator app or a password manager that supports TOTP.
- Select Authenticator application.
- Open your authenticator app and add a new account.
- Scan the QR code shown in Logicc. If you cannot scan it, use the manual setup option provided.
- Enter the code generated by your authenticator app in Logicc and confirm the setup.
The QR code contains the secret key for your second factor. Never share it or save an unprotected screenshot of it.
Use an SMS code
- Select SMS code.
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm your phone number.
- Enter the code you receive by SMS to complete the setup.
Store your backup codes safely
After setup, Logicc displays backup codes. You can use them to sign in if you lose access to your authenticator device or phone number.
- Download, print, or copy the codes to a secure location.
- Keep them separate from your usual sign-in device, for example in a password manager.
- Each backup code can be used only once.
- Never share backup codes with anyone. Logicc Support will not ask you for them.
Close the setup dialog only after you have stored the backup codes safely.
Sign in with 2FA
Sign in to Logicc as usual. You will then be asked for the code from your configured method. If necessary, use an unused backup code instead.
Manage or remove 2FA
Open the security settings again. Your configured methods and backup codes appear under Two-factor authentication. Open the three-dot menu next to a method to see the available management actions.
Remove your only 2FA method only if you are sure that your account remains adequately protected. Passkeys are an additional sign-in option and can be configured on the same page.
Lost access to your second factor?
First try signing in with an unused backup code. If you cannot access either your 2FA method or your backup codes, contact [email protected]. An identity check may be required to protect your account.
Important security guidance
- Never share verification codes, QR codes, or backup codes.
- Do not approve a sign-in that you did not start yourself.
- Do not store backup codes unencrypted in a chat, email, or publicly accessible document.
- If you receive an unexpected verification code, change your password as a precaution and review your active devices in the security settings.
