The Logicc API can be used as a central model gateway for external coding assistants and agentic platforms. The respective application provides the user interface and local tools. Model access, activation, and usage are managed through the Logicc API key.
Beta: The Logicc API and the third-party integrations described are in an ongoing testing and expansion phase. Platform updates may change setup, model availability and functionality. Check an integration before production use with the intended model and workflow.
| Requirement | Recommendation | Model focus | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Graphical Claude interface for local projects | Claude Desktop and Cowork | Claude | Recommended |
| Claude as a coding agent in the terminal | Claude Code | Claude | Recommended |
| GPT-based coding agent | Codex | GPT via Responses | Recommended |
| Flexible environment for multiple model families | OpenCode | GPT, Claude and Gemini | Conditionally compatible, depending on the route |
The subpages contain the complete setup for each platform.
macOS, Linux or WSL:
export LOGICC_API_KEY="YOUR_LOGICC_API_KEY"
Windows PowerShell:
$env:LOGICC_API_KEY = "YOUR_LOGICC_API_KEY"
curl "https://api.logicc.cloud/v1/models" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOGICC_API_KEY"
Only use model IDs returned by this response. The general price list is not an automatic confirmation of activation.
curl "https://api.logicc.cloud/api/governance/virtual-keys/quota" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $LOGICC_API_KEY"
Budget, consumption and remaining budget are kept in euros.

Response to the platform
The interface, local project folders and authorized terminal tools always run on the device used. The language model does not run locally. Prompts and the file or code snippets selected for a task are transferred via the Logicc API to the model provider set up for the API key.
| Format | Base URL | Typical usage |
|---|---|---|
| Anthropic Messages | https://api.logicc.cloud/anthropic |
Claude Desktop, Cowork and Claude Code |
| OpenAI Responses | https://api.logicc.cloud/v1 |
Codex and agentic GPT workflows in OpenCode |
| OpenAI compatible chat completions | https://api.logicc.cloud/v1 |
Generic clients and conditionally compatible GPT, Claude, and Gemini routes |
Codex requires the Responses protocol for its own model providers. Claude Code is designed for Claude models. OpenCode can use both OpenAI formats.
| Platform and route | Suitable models | Status | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Claude Desktop, native gateway | Enabled claude-* models |
Recommended | The model selector hides non-Claude models. The regular chat tab is not routed through Logicc. |
| Claude Code, Anthropic Messages | Enabled claude-* models |
Recommended | Non-Claude models are not officially supported by Anthropic. |
| Codex, Responses | Enabled GPT text and reasoning models | Recommended | The specific route must support /v1/responses and tool calling. |
| OpenCode, Responses | Enabled GPT text and reasoning models | Recommended | Best option for GPT tool calling and reasoning. |
| OpenCode, Chat Completions | GPT, Claude, and Gemini text models | Conditionally compatible | Tool calling, streaming and reasoning must be tested for each model. |
| Audio, embedding and pure image models | Transcription, embeddings or image generation | Not suitable | These models are not coding chat models. |
For complete model IDs and prices, see 2. Models and Pricing. GET /v1/models remains authoritative for the specific API key.
Agentic platforms can execute many model queries, tool steps, and automatic iterations for a task. The consumption can therefore be significantly higher than with a single chat request. Large GPT and Claude Opus models cost significantly more than smaller models.
Recommendations:
Model prices are shown in US dollars per million tokens. Budget, consumption, remaining budget and invoicing are managed in euros.
API keys may not be stored in Git repositories, frontend code, publicly delivered apps, or shared configuration files. For long-term use, we recommend a password manager, Secret Manager or Credential Helper.
The third-party platform can send technical telemetry, update checks or diagnostic information to its provider independently of the model call. Web search, plugins, MCP servers and connectors can create additional data flows. Before using confidential data, check:
The data protection and confidentiality conditions agreed for the Logicc account and the respective provider route are decisive. Choosing a local interface does not mean that model processing occurs locally.
| status or error | Typical cause | Next step |
|---|---|---|
401 Unauthorized |
API key is missing or not passed correctly | Check environment variables and authentication headers |
403 Forbidden |
Model not enabled or key blocked | Check /v1/models and the API key status |
404 Not Found |
Incorrect base URL or API format | Use the exact platform-specific base URL |
429 Too Many Requests |
Rate limit or consumption budget reached | Check quota and contact support if necessary |
5xx |
Temporary gateway or provider error | Repeat the request later and document error details |
Roo Code, Aider and other VS Code or JetBrains extensions can generally work if they support their own base URL, bearer authentication and model ID. These integrations are not approved across the board. Tool calling, streaming, reasoning and file operations must be tested for the specific combination.
Custom server-side applications provide the greatest control over permissions, logging, user mapping, rate limits, and error handling.
